My goal is simple - to provide supportive, patient, and personalised driving lessons that empower learners to feel confident behind the wheel for life, not just for the driving test.
Why did you become a driving instructor?
After many years working in HR, specialising in recruitment and training within a large retail company, I discovered a real passion for coaching and supporting people to grow in confidence and succeed. That passion eventually led me to a career change, following my love of developing & coaching people - becoming a driving instructor.
What professional experience do you have?
I have spent many rewarding years working as a franchisee for a local driving school, helping learners of all backgrounds build safe, confident driving skills. With a strong foundation and a clear vision, I took the exciting step to start my own school: Drive with Jo, teaching Manual driving lessons.

I will focus on growing your confidence, increasing your understanding of road rules and preparing you to handle busy roads safely and reflectively.

Whether you’ve been on the road for years or are returning to the road after a break, refresher sessions are ideal for those looking to refresh their skills to ensure they are still confident and road-ready.
